Awards Luncheon

Next Thurs. Nov. 10, RBC Financial Group presents the 18th Annual Outstanding Business Achievement Awards Luncheon.

Beginning at noon at the Rotary Centre for Youth we will enjoy a catered lunch from One Fifty Five, followed by a word from Norm Miller - MPP for Parry Sound - Muskoka.

The finishing touch will be the presentation of nine awards to those businesses and business people who were voted best by Bracebridge Chamber members.

This excellent event will wrap up at 2:00 pm.

Save Money by Saving Energy

Lakeland Power is offering business customers two back-to-back opportunities to attend a brief presentation regarding Conservation Programs.

Both presentations are free and will take place at the Muskoka Riverside Inn, Salon A.  The Breakfast Session will take place on Nov. 22 from 8:00 am until 9:30 am. It will include a continental breakfast.

The second session is the following evening on Wed. Nov. 23 from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm and includes coffee and tea.

Thurs. Dec. 8 - 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm - Muskoka Small Business Centre and your Chamber of Commerce are hosting this seminar presented by The Bank of Canada.

Location: Nipissing University - Muskoka Campus, Classroom 2, 125 Wellington St., Bracebridge.

Topics include: An overview of what the Bank of Canada does; Counterfeiting trends; Security features of the Canadian Journey series of bank notes presently in use as well as the new Polymer bank note series, Frontiers.  A hands-on workshop where participants compare authentic & counterfeit bills.
